🎯 Lesson Goal

In this lesson, you will learn the basic question words in English. You will know when and how to use them in simple sentences.

Dans cette leçon, vous apprendrez les mots interrogatifs de base en anglais. Vous saurez quand et comment les utiliser dans des phrases simples.

🧠 Grammar Focus

Question words are used to ask for information. We use words like Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How. They start a question. The question word goes at the beginning of a question. After the question word, we usually use a verb. For example, ‘Where is your book?’ We use Who to ask about people. We use What to ask about things. Be careful: do not forget to add a question mark at the end of the question. Here are examples: Who is she? What is this? Where do you live? When is the party? Why are you happy? How do you make tea?

Les mots interrogatifs servent à demander des informations. Nous utilisons des mots comme Who, What, Where, When, Why, et How. Ils commencent une question. Le mot interrogatif est placé au début de la question. Après ce mot, on utilise généralement un verbe. Par exemple, ‘Where is your book ?’ Who sert à demander une personne. What sert à demander une chose. N’oubliez pas le point d’interrogation à la fin. Voici des exemples.
