Dans cette leçon, vous apprendrez à faire des comparaisons simples. Vous utiliserez des mots comme ‘bigger’, ‘smaller’, ‘taller’ et ‘shorter’. Vous pratiquerez la lecture, l’écriture et des exercices sur les comparaisons quotidiennes.
🧠 Grammar Focus
Comparisons use special words to show differences. We add -er to short adjectives. For example, ‘big’ becomes ‘bigger’. We use ‘than’ after the comparison word. The sentence is: subject + verb + adjective + er + than + object. Example: My bag is bigger than your bag. For words with two or more syllables, we use ‘more’. Example: This book is more interesting than that book. Do not say ‘more bigger’. Use only ‘bigger’.
Les comparaisons utilisent des mots spéciaux pour montrer les différences. On ajoute -er aux adjectifs courts. Par exemple, ‘big’ devient ‘bigger’. On utilise ‘than’ après le mot de comparaison. La phrase est : sujet + verbe + adjectif + er + than + objet. Pour les mots de deux syllabes ou plus, on utilise ‘more’. Par exemple : This book is more interesting than that book. Ne dites pas ‘more bigger’. Utilisez seulement ‘bigger’.
