🧠 Grammar Focus
We use ‘more’ to compare two things. ‘More’ means a larger amount. The sentence is: Place 1 + is + more + adjective + than + Place 2. We use short adjectives like ‘big’ and long adjectives with ‘more’ like ‘beautiful’. We also use ‘less’ to say smaller amount. For example: ‘This park is more clean than that park.’ Do not say ‘more big’. Say ‘bigger’ instead. Examples: 1. This city is more beautiful than that city. 2. My town is less noisy than your town. 3. The park is bigger than the school. 4. The beach is more popular than the lake.
