🧠 Grammar Focus
We use ‘have to’ to talk about things that are necessary. It shows a rule or duty. The sentence is: subject + have to + verb. For he, she, it, we say ‘has to’. ‘Have to’ means you need to do something. Use it for things you must do. A common beginner mistake is to say ‘he have to’ instead of ‘he has to’. Examples: I have to study. She has to work. We have to go. You have to listen. They have to clean.
On utilise ‘have to’ pour parler des choses nécessaires. Cela exprime une règle ou un devoir. La phrase est : sujet + have to + verbe. Pour he, she, it, on dit ‘has to’. ‘Have to’ signifie que vous devez faire quelque chose. Utilisez-le pour les obligations. Une erreur courante est de dire ‘he have to’ au lieu de ‘he has to’.
