🎯 Lesson Goal

Learn simple time expressions to talk about when things happen.

Apprenez des expressions simples de temps pour dire quand les choses se passent.

🧠 Grammar Focus

Time expressions tell us when something happens. We use words like ‘today,’ ‘yesterday,’ ‘tomorrow,’ ‘now,’ and ‘every day.’ Time expressions can come at the beginning or end of a sentence. Use the present continuous with ‘now’ for actions happening at this moment: ‘I am eating breakfast now.’ Use the past simple with ‘yesterday’: ‘She went yesterday.’ Use ‘will’ or ‘going to’ with ‘tomorrow’ for future actions: ‘We will go tomorrow.’ Use the simple present with ‘every day’ for routines: ‘I study every day.’

Les expressions de temps indiquent quand quelque chose se passe. On utilise des mots comme “today”, “yesterday”, “tomorrow”, “now” et “every day”. Les expressions de temps peuvent se placer au début ou à la fin de la phrase. Pour une action en cours au moment où l’on parle, on utilise le présent continu avec “now” : “I am eating breakfast now.” Avec “yesterday”, on utilise le passé pour une action terminée : “She went yesterday.” Pour une action future avec “tomorrow”, on peut utiliser “will” ou “going to” : “We will go tomorrow.” Pour les routines avec “every day”, on utilise le présent simple : “I study every day.”
