🧠 Grammar Focus
We use ‘can’ to ask for help or permission. It is polite to use ‘can’ in questions. The form is: Can + you + verb? Example: Can you help me? Use ‘can’ only for present or future requests. The answer can be yes or no. A common mistake is to forget ‘can’ and say the verb alone. Examples: 1. Can you open the door? 2. Can I use your pen? 3. Can she come here? 4. Can we start now? 5. Can you wait, please?
On utilise “can” pour demander de l’aide ou la permission. C’est poli d’utiliser “can” dans les questions. La forme est : Can + you + verbe ? Exemple : Can you help me?
