🧠 Grammar Focus
We use the verb ‘be’ to describe people. The forms are: ‘am’, ‘is’, and ‘are’. Use ‘am’ with ‘I’. Use ‘is’ with he, she, or it. Use ‘are’ with you, we, and they. The sentence order is: subject + be + adjective or noun. For example, ‘He is tall.’ or ‘They are happy.’ A common small mistake is to forget to use the verb ‘be’. Here are examples: I am happy. She is young. He is tall. We are friends. They are kind.
