🎯 Lesson Goal
You will learn about basic adjectives. You will practice using simple words to describe things. This will help you talk about people, places, and objects.
Vous allez apprendre les adjectifs de base. Vous pratiquerez les mots simples pour décrire des choses. Cela vous aidera à parler des personnes, des lieux et des objets.
🧠 Grammar Focus
Adjectives describe nouns. They tell us more about a thing or person. We use adjectives before a noun. For example, a big dog, a small house. We also use adjectives after the verb ‘to be’. For example, The dog is big. The house is small. Adjectives do not change for singular or plural. You can use simple adjectives like big, small, happy, and cold. A beginner mistake is to put the adjective after the noun without a verb. For example, ‘dog big’ is wrong. Use ‘big dog’ or ‘the dog is big’.
Il faut dire “big dog” ou “the dog is big”.
