🎯 Lesson Goal

Learn how to make questions with the Present Perfect tense to talk about experiences and recent actions.

🧠 Grammar Focus

We use the Present Perfect to ask about experiences or actions that happened at an unknown time before now. We make questions with ‘Have’ or ‘Has’ + subject + past participle. Use ‘have’ with I, you, we, they, and ‘has’ with he, she, it. Examples: Have you eaten breakfast? Has she finished her work? Have they visited the museum? Has it rained today? We use these questions to find out about things that have happened before now.

📖 Short Reading

Anna has just arrived in the city. She has asked many people, "Have you seen the old library?" Some people have said yes, but no one has given her a clear answer. She has also asked, "Have you tried the new coffee shop?" Many have said they have. Anna has never been there. Today, she has asked many questions to learn about this new place.
