🧠 Grammar Focus
We use simple sentences to talk about the weather. Use ‘It is + adjective’: It is cold. It is sunny. Use ‘It is + verb-ing’ for weather happening now: It is raining. It is snowing. We can also use ‘There is/There are’ with nouns: There is a lot of rain. There are clouds in the sky.

Anna wakes up. She looks out of the window. It is sunny and warm today. She says, "It is a nice day." Anna goes to the park. She sees many people. Some people have hats. Some people have umbrellas. They want to be ready for the weather.
