📝 Daily Practice
🎯 Lesson Goal
Learn how to use singular and plural nouns in simple sentences.
🧠 Grammar Focus
A singular noun means one person, place, or thing. A plural noun means more than one. We add -s to most nouns to make them plural. For example, ‘cat’ becomes ‘cats’. We use singular nouns with words like ‘a’ or ‘one’. We use plural nouns with numbers bigger than one or words like ‘many’. Sometimes, the noun does not change, but this is for later lessons. Remember: do not add -s when the noun is one. Here are some examples: I have one book. I have two books. She has one apple. They have three apples. The dogs run fast.
