📝 Daily Practice
🎯 Lesson Goal
Learn the names of days and months. Learn how to say and write dates in English.
🧠 Grammar Focus
We use words to say days and months. Days are seven: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Months are twelve: January to December. We say the date like this: the number + month. For example, 5 January. We can say the day before the date, for example, Monday 5 January. Always write the day with a capital letter. Always write the month with a capital letter. A common mistake is to write days or months with small letters. Here are examples: Today is Monday. My birthday is in June. We have a meeting on Tuesday 10 March. I like July. The date is 1 December.
