Learn how to ask questions using ‘going to’ for the future.
🧠 Grammar Focus
We use ‘going to’ to ask about future plans and intentions. Put the correct form of ‘be’ before the subject: Am I going to…? Is he/she going to…? Are you/we/they going to…? Then use the base verb. Examples: Are you going to eat? Is she going to come? Am I going to need a ticket? Do not forget ‘to’ after ‘going’.
📖 Short Reading
Anna and Tom are friends. Anna asks Tom, “Are you going to eat pizza?” Tom says, “Yes, I am going to eat pizza.” Then Anna asks, “Is Maria going to come to the park?” Tom says, “Yes, she is going to come.” They like to ask questions about their plans. It is fun to talk about the future with ‘going to.’
