We use ‘could’ to ask for something politely. ‘Could’ is a polite word. We use it to be nice. The sentence structure is: Could + subject + verb? Example: Could you help me? We can say ‘Could I’ to ask for permission. Example: Could I open the window? Do not forget to use the verb after ‘could’. Example: Could you come? not Could you comes? Here are some examples: 1. Could you help me? 2. Could she call me? 3. Could I use your pen? 4. Could we go now? 5. Could they wait here?
