🎯 Lesson Goal

Learn how to use comparative adjectives to compare two things.
Aprende a usar adjetivos comparativos para comparar dos cosas.
🧠 Grammar Focus
Enfoque gramatical
We use comparative adjectives to compare two things. We add -er to short adjectives. For example, tall becomes taller. For long adjectives, we use ‘more’ before the adjective. For example, beautiful becomes more beautiful. We use the structure: subject + verb + adjective + -er/more + than + object. Example: She is taller than me. Do not forget to use ‘than’ after the comparative adjective. Examples: My house is bigger than your house. This book is more interesting than that one. Be careful: do not add -er and also use ‘more’ together.
Usamos adjetivos comparativos para comparar dos cosas. Añadimos -er a adjetivos cortos. Para adjetivos largos, usamos ‘more’ antes del adjetivo. La estructura es: sujeto + verbo + adjetivo + -er/more + than + objeto. No olvides usar ‘than’ después del comparativo. Ten cuidado: no uses -er y ‘more’ juntos.
