Adjectives describe nouns. Opposite adjectives have different meanings. Use them to show difference. We use ‘is’ + adjective for singular. Use ‘are’ + adjective for plural. Adjectives usually come before nouns or after verbs like ‘is’. Examples: The box is big. The box is small. Dogs are fast. Cats are slow. Be careful: do not use two adjectives for one noun without ‘and’.

Los adjetivos describen sustantivos. Los adjetivos opuestos tienen significados diferentes. Úsalos para mostrar contraste. Usamos ‘is’ + adjetivo para singular y ‘are’ + adjetivo para plural.
