At a Café

A customer pays for a coffee. The server gives back the card and says, ‘Here you are.’ A minute later the coffee is ready: ‘There you go.’ The customer apologises for dropping a napkin, but the server says, ‘Never mind. No worries.’

💡 Notice the Pattern

Short conversational chunks

Here you are and there you go are often used when giving something. That’s fine and that’s okay show acceptance. Never mind and no worries tell someone not to worry.

  • Here you are – your change.
  • Never mind. It is okay.

💬 Useful Examples
