Must shows something you have to do. Mustn’t shows something you cannot do. Use must + base verb to say rules or strong advice. Use mustn’t + base verb to say prohibition. Example: You must wash your hands. You mustn’t smoke here. Do not use ‘do’ with must or mustn’t. Common mistake: do not say ‘must not to’.
Must indica algo que você tem que fazer. Mustn’t indica algo que você não pode fazer. Use must + verbo base para regras ou conselhos fortes. Use mustn’t + verbo base para proibições. Exemplo: You must wash your hands. You mustn’t smoke here. Não use ‘do’ com must ou mustn’t. Erro comum: dizer ‘must not to’.
