We use simple sentences to talk about the weather. We say what the weather is like. Use ‘It is’ or ‘It has’ for weather. ‘It is’ + adjective: It is cold. It is hot. Use the verb ‘to be’ in simple present. Example: It is sunny today. Use ‘It has’ + noun to say about weather things. Example: It has a lot of rain. Watch out! Do not say ‘It are’ or ‘It have’ for weather. Here are examples: 1. It is cold. 2. It is raining. 3. It is sunny. 4. It has clouds.
