💡 Notice the Pattern
Using 'take responsibility for' and 'make an effort to'
'Take responsibility for' means accepting you must handle a task or problem. 'Make an effort to' means trying hard to do something. Both are followed by verbs ending in -ing or noun phrases.
- She takes responsibility for organising the event.
- He made an effort to understand the instructions.
