Using Adjective + Preposition Correctly

Many English adjectives are naturally followed by specific prepositions. These combinations show the correct connection between feelings or knowledge and the object. For example, we say satisfied with and disappointed with to express feelings about something, and familiar with to show knowledge about something.

  • She is familiar with the rules of the game.
