🎯 Lesson Goal
In this lesson, you will learn:
- What makes a password strong
- How to create an easy-to-remember strong password
- Why using the same password everywhere is risky
🧠 Explanation
A strong password helps keep your online accounts safe. It is long, uses letters, numbers, and symbols, so it is hard to guess. But it should also be something you can remember. For example, think of a phrase like “My dog Max is 5!” You can use the first letter of each word plus the numbers and symbols: Mdm!5. This is easier to remember than a random string of characters, but still strong.
Try not to use simple words like “password” or your name alone. Avoid easy numbers like “1234.” Also, do not use the same password for many sites. If one site is hacked, other accounts can be at risk.
📖 Short Story
Anna loved using a simple password: “sunshine123.” One day, her email account was hacked. She found out the hacker tried the same password on her online shopping site too. Anna felt upset but wanted to fix the problem. She learned how to create a stronger password. She chose a phrase she could remember, “Cats jump high at night!” and turned it into Cjh@n! with some numbers added: Cjh@n2024. Now, Anna uses a different strong password for each important account. She feels safer online and remembers her passwords easily.
Example:
Phrase: “I love pizza on Fridays!”
Strong password: Ilp0F! (first letters + number 0 + symbol !)
